Babysitting our new baby boy

Ailsa babysat our 10-week old baby boy just before Christmas. She was brilliant from the initial meet, answering all our questions and handling him in a calm and caring way. On the day Ailsa sent multiple messages, videos and photos, updating us on how he was doing and reassuring us that all was well. This enabled us to have a great time without worry. We highly recommend Ailsa and will be using her for all future babysitting.

What a fabulous lady!

Ailsa has been nothing but amazing for my boy. She is so warm, compassionate and friendly. My boy took to Ailsa straight away and she treats him as if he is one of her own. I could not ask for anything more from her. If I need to amend plans, Ailsa is accommodating. If he needs to be collected early, I know I can rely on her to collect him from school if I am unable to make it. She always texts me to let me know how he’s got on in school and how his day has been. Thank you Ailsa, from the bottom of my heart for all that you do for my boy. He loves coming to you! ❤️

Wonderful Childminder!

Ailsa has been amazing with our little girl, who is three years old. She had never been left in care before, so we were really apprehensive about taking that step. From the moment we met Ailsa, it felt as though we had known her forever — she was so welcoming and warm that we immediately knew she was the right fit. Our little girl took her hand and went off to play straight away. We left her for just an hour at first, and when we came back to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave! She has settled in so easily and gets genuinely excited to go, which, as a parent, is everything you could hope for when leaving your little one with someone.

Ailsa has a natural ability to make children feel secure and loved. We could not recommend her highly enough!

The meeting with her and the communication even before my daughter stayed with her was fantastic. Alisa has been great with my daughter for the last week and half she has looked after her. Sends me pictures keeps me updated on what she has been doing through the day. Can't recommend her enough.

Overnight care

Ailsa looked after my four-year-old overnight with just a week’s notice, and she was fantastic. She made sure to meet my little one beforehand so she wouldn’t just be left with a stranger, which immediately put me at ease. Ailsa was warm, reassuring, and thoughtful throughout. Even though my daughter is usually a great sleeper, I was still nervous about leaving her. Ailsa sent regular updates and videos, which really helped. She even took Kim to Jump, so by bedtime she was happily worn out! Ailsa made sure her little night light and a landing light were left on, and Kim slept right through. Kim was happy, content, and well cared for, and I will 100% be using Ailsa again. Highly recommend!

Urgent afterschool care 

I needed after school care last minute for a month due to family issues. Ailsa has been looking after my son and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Her communication is excellent – she took the time to ask lots of questions about his likes, dislikes, to make sure he felt comfortable. I love that she keeps him busy with fun activities, and the photos are such a lovely touch. He settled with her in the first day and was more than happy to go back! Last minute care for children

We were so grateful to have Ailsa step in last minute over the long bank holiday weekend. From the moment we met her, we warmed to her straight away – and so did the kids! She was professional, reliable, and at the same time absolutely fantastic with the children. They had so much fun with her and couldn’t stop talking about the activities they did together. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We had photos and video updates throughout the day, everything the kids ate and did was documented so we could look at it when we picked the kids up. The kids didn’t miss us at all and when we went to pick them up they wanted to stay! We’ll definitely be using Ailsa again; highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy childminder.
